Welcome to SOSEC Nepal
SOSEC Nepal is a non-profit, non-governmental organization established on 27th August 1997 in Dailekh. The organization targets women, children, youth, Dalits, and marginalized communities, earning recognition as a leading organization in the sector of women and children in Karnali Province. It operates in Karnali Province (Dailekh, Kalikot, Surkhet, Jajarkot, Rukum West, and Salyan), Sudur Paschim Province (Achham), and Lumbini Province (Dang and Kapilvastu). The organization has its central office in Dailekh and field offices in Kalikot, Achham, Surkhet, and Lalitpur. Its Baal Helpline 1098 initiative extends coverage throughout all districts of Karnali Province. Over the years, SOSEC Nepal has successfully completed over 65 projects in thematic areas such as education, water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH), livelihoods, community-based disaster risk reduction (CCA/DRR), health, and human rights.
